This cheerful piece is sure to delight young pianists. Brisk staccato notes in the melody give the piece its blithe character. Students should make sure that the Alberti bass accompaniment does not overpower the melody. Good finger dexterity is needed for keeping up with the moving eighth notes in the left hand. Steadiness and clarity are two important aspects for the right hand.
