Repeated notes are prolific in this fast-paced work by Czerny. Careful attention to fingering is imperative for achieving the proper speed. Students should keep the left hand at a subdued level so that the melody can come through and the overall dynamic level remains piano. Crisp articulation is another important aspect. The occasional sixteenth notes can be challenging for students when the piece is played at a fast tempo.
