Christian Petzold, Minuet in G Minor BWV 115, B1

The beautiful melody of this minuet is not the only reason young budding pianists should study it. This short piece is a great way to incorporate scales into their playing, as both the left and right hands have several scalar passages. Along with practicing ornamentation, this piece is also a great way to help the students hear the difference between the major and minor sections.
