This piece certainly has a spinning quality. The accompaniment pattern consists of an Alberti-bass-like pattern as well as broken octaves. These may pose many technical challenges for beginning pianists. As is indicated in the score, the left hand should be softer than the melodic line, which is built mostly on thirds and sixths. The dotted rhythms in the right hand should be extremely crisp and accurate.
