With a leisurely tempo and peaceful character, this work is easy to listen to. The accompaniment consists solely of single notes in bass clef, decorated with grace notes. Since the right hand is comprised of triads, good voicing is imperative. Students should practice the melody alone in order to become aware of what to bring out. Dynamics and tone production are two other important elements.
