This piece will push students’ technical abilities to new levels. Passages of thirds contrast with sixths, never giving the right hand a break. Pianists must pay attention to the articulation markings, noting the difference between the staccato and legato sections. The accompaniment can also be a bit challenging rhythmically. Careful counting and observation of rests is extremely important.
