This beautiful Aria from the Notebook for Anna Magdalena Bach is in the key of F major. it has two simple melodic lines, which are independant from one another. It has a few ornaments, which provide opportunity to discuss this with your students. The appogiaturas and the need to play two independant lines using a non-legato articulation are the main difficulties in this composition.
